Byron for me.

We recently spent 9 incredible days up in Byron Bay. It's been years since I last visited and was so pleased to reacquaint myself with the treasures of this town. I thought I'd share a few links to some of my favorite things (not to brag but to simply share the love). Most of the links here revolve around eating, which we did a lot of in Byron. When we weren't eating we were hanging around on the beaches soaking up the relaxed atmosphere and basking is the beauty that is Byron. If you're heading to the Byron Bay region any time soon here's a little hit list to keep in your back pocket.

Byron
Naked Treaties raw food goodness from the Godess Jemma (yes, Jemma from the original Big Brother!).
Imeson Cottage where we were blessed to be staying. It's right on the beach and belongs to NSW National Parks.
Bay Leaf cafe, if you're missing a little Melbourne cafe culture this is definitely the hip place to be.
The Top Shop, for a truly Byron take on incredible cafe life.
Targa, the best service!! Along with incredible food & wine. They welcomed Z and made him right at home on a bench seat just in case he needed a nap.
Tallow Beach, Z and I spent a glorious morning hanging out on the beach while the LF perfected his surfing, fighting the local lads for a break.

Newrybar
Harvest Cafe spend a little time on the verandah here basking in all the beauty of an old Queenslander. The food was amazing too.
Counrty House Antiques.

Mullumbimby
Milk & Honey, for incrdible pizza's and a buzzy atmosphere.
Kiva Spa & Bathhouse, ... apparently the spa house where the locals go.
Santos Natural Food Store.

Bangalow
I loved so much about this charming town. In fact I loved it so much I could imagine us living there....at some stage.
The art deco beauty of the Bangalow Hotel.
Little Peach A sweet Japanese store who also stock a few independent designers such as Treehorn Design.
Cafe Ate yet another great cafe.
The Bangalow Market (4th Sunday of every month) is a must! Absolutely huge and buzzing with every imaginable....and unimaginable stall, selling locally produced goods. The Organic Donuts are a must.

Federal
A drive to Federal for the newly opened cafe run by a gorgeous Japanese family. It is well worth the drive. Family run and lovingly crafted this sweet cafe serves food in a similar fashion to The Top Shop with an Japanese bent.

There was so much more I loved and still more we could have explored. This is in no way an exhaustive list but some of the highlights we managed to squeeze in to a holiday geared around a lot of R & R. I can't wait to get back there.... already.

Thanks to our friends Berry, Tom Tom & Miss Ella Bella for making it such an incredible trip.  Big kisses beautiful people.
xx

Thank you dear lady, perfect timing. We are up there in December. Bangalow is such a sweet town isn't... I could easily see myself living there as well.
